Synopsis

Swiss Sounds is a collaboration between French electronic artist Thylacine, Travel Switzerland, and Switzerland Tourism. Over 16 days, Thylacine travelled across Switzerland using 23 trains, 3 cable cars, 2 boats, and 1 bus, creating a music track from the authentic sounds of Swiss transport and landscapes. Filmed in summer and winter, the project highlights the country’s diverse scenery and the rhythm of travel itself.

Goals of the film

The campaign aimed to showcase the accessibility and diversity of Swiss transport (train, boat, cable car, and bus) while reaching audiences in an unexpected way. By blending music, visuals, and storytelling, we wanted to create impactful communication that felt like an experience rather than traditional advertising, delivering Swiss transport’s appeal without looking like a commercial.

Target Group

Targeting French travellers, most of whom use cars, the campaign highlighted that Switzerland’s iconic landscapes are easily accessible by public transport, turning travel itself into part of the experience. Partnering with Thylacine, a French electronic music musician and producer whose electronic-classical music appeals to fans 50+, allowed us to reach a broad age range. Though focused on France, the campaign achieved international resonance.
