Synopsis
The Kumano Kodo is a pilgrimage route that people have taken to Kumano Sanzan since ancient times. As you walk up the stone pavement step by step, you can feel not only the magnificent natural scenery, but also the history that has been built and preserved by our ancestors. In this video, the story follows a foreigner who visits Kumano Kodo Iseji and reflects on himself as he walks along the path, feeling the spirituality of the Japanese people.
Goals of the film
In the neighboring Wakayama Prefecture, a significant number of foreign visitors from Europe, the United States, and Australia are arriving. To attract these travelers to the region, Higashikishu Regional Oraganization is launching promotion specifically targeting tourists from these countries.
Target Group
Through videos highlighting the unique charm of the Kumano Kodo Iseji route and the surrounding tourist resources, we aim to raise awareness of Iseji and increase the number of visitors to Higashikishu.
