Synopsis
Nanki Kumano is a rural area in Japan, home to the renowned Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes. Over the past ten centuries, people from commoners to the emperors, have made their ways from Kyoto to Kumano. And now, visitors can still trace the footprints of those pilgrims.
Goals of the film
Nanki Kumano Geopark was designated as a national geopark in 2014. Its mission is to conserve the geological heritage, as well as the related natural and cultural heritage of the area, while promoting them towards tourists. This film was produced to promote the area towards international tourists, focusing on tradition, nature and the land.
Target Group
Our goal through this film is to promote Nanki Kumano Geopark towards international tourists visiting Japan.
