Rui Barbosa Batista is a journalist by vocation and a blogger and travel leader by passion. He travels with a backpack free of barriers or prejudices of any race or creed and with this he has already accumulated experiences in more than 125 countries, part of which is portrayed in his book ' BORNFREEE – The World is an Adventure'.
Restlessly passionate about the worlds of this planet, he has a strong predilection for the most logistically challenging destinations – more difficult and less touristy countries, therefore more pure and genuine – and writes regularly about his adventures for the magazines Volta ao Mundo and Fugas, from the newspaper Público.
He was one of the founders of ABVP – Association of Portuguese Travel Bloggers and, because he thinks that we should leave the World better than we found it, he plays the same role" for "he's vice-presidente of" the centenary Social Solidarity of Porto's People Cooperative.
