Korina has been an award-winning freelance eco-production manager, teacher and consultant on sustainability in the film industry in Germany since 2012. A social entrepreneur and activist for peace and biodiversity, she is the founder of NGOs dedicated to ocean conservation. Her professional milestones include working as an environmental engineer, leading youth film workshops ("How to Tell a Wild Story Eco-Friendly"), coordinating KINO.NATÜRLICH, serving as in-house consultant at the Berlinale & European Film Market, initiating the Sustainability Film Award in Germany, curating Cinemare, and acting as jury member for several green film festivals. She has been eco-manager on over 40 film productions and teaches at Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, Potsdam. Her vision: to make films, festivals, events and cinemas sustainable — respecting nature, destinations and one another, mindfully.
