Michelle Masperi is a Project Specialist at UN Tourism, where she has worked for over five years supporting the Organization’s mission to promote sustainable, inclusive, and responsible tourism in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
In her role within the Affiliate Members and Public-Private Collaboration Department, she leads all communications aspects related to the UN Tourism’s Affiliate Members — a unique network of over 500 entities from the tourism public and private sectors, fostering collaboration and visibility.
Moreover, Michelle plays a key role in advancing the Organization’s work in different tourism areas, including Audiovisual Tourism, a growing field that explores the intersection of screen tourism, cultural affinity, and destination promotion through a sustainability lens. She also contributes to the development of strategic content, international events, and coordinates joint initiatives between UN Tourism and its Affiliate Members, including the podcast series ON THE GO.
