Belgrade, September 7th, 2025 — The winners of the Silkfest International Tour & Eco Film Festival 2025 have been announced, recognizing outstanding achievements in tourism and eco-themed audiovisual productions. The Serbian award is part of the CIFFT Circuit, the global competition that will define the World’s Best Tourism Films of the Year. 

The Silkfest’s top honor, the Grand Prix, was awarded to “Kaštela – A Taste of Perfection(Croatia). This production also secured 1st place in the Tourism Products category, impressing the international jury with its quality and ability to convey the unique essence of Kaštela as a destination.

In the Tourism Destinations City category, “Kaunas – A Self Made City” (Lithuania) won 1st place, followed by “Düsseldorf. More than a pitch” (Germany) in 2nd place, and “Zagreb All-Inclusive” (Croatia) in 3rd place.

In the Tourism Destinations Region category, 1st place was awarded to “Alps at their very best. Routine off. Relaxation on.” (Austria), while “A Breathtaking Journey” (Denmark) took 2nd place, and “Kenting” (Taiwan) received 3rd place.

In the Tourism Destinations Country category, “Welcome Home – The Land of Royal Drums” (Burundi) earned 1st place, with “Armenia the Hidden Track” (Armenia) taking 2nd place, and “Visit Original Sweden” (Sweden) in 3rd place.

In the Tourism Products category, “Slovenian Culture: A Bonfire of Creativity, Art and Craft” (Slovenia) was awarded 2nd place, and “Speechless” (Portugal) received 3rd place.

In the Tourism Services category, 1st place went to “NURI – The Secret of Nuri” (Austria), while “You do you” (Spain) was awarded 2nd place, and “Kullaberg – Next Meeting” (Sweden) received 3rd place.

Special distinctions were also presented: “Peru Now” (Peru) won the Blue Danube for Best Promotional Video, “Varaždin Courtyard Festival” (Croatia) received the White Acacia for Best Editing, “Corazon City” (United States) won the White Acacia for Best Directing, “Seen from the sky there is something that unites us” (Portugal) earned the White Acacia for Best Photography, and “Support Lower Silesia” (Poland) received the White Acacia for Best Screenplay.

All entries were evaluated by an international jury of experts, who assessed the films on storytelling, creativity, innovation, and their effectiveness in promoting tourism.

As part of the CIFFT Circuit, Silkfest winners not only receive global recognition but also take a step closer to the most prestigious accolade in tourism audiovisual communication, the World’s Best Tourism Films of the Year, awarded at the World Tourism Film Awards. By ranking the most awarded tourism films worldwide, the CIFFT Rankings set the gold standard in how destinations and tourism brands tell their stories.
