The Cultural Women’s Association of Amorgos, in collaboration with the Municipality of Amorgos and the Region of South Aegean, is organizing for the 16th consecutive year the Amorgos International Tourism Film Festival, along with the 8th Amorgos Film Academy and the 22nd YPERIA Conference on Culture, from November 13 to 18, 2025.
The Festival, an official member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) based in Vienna, has been established as an internationally recognized institution promoting Greek culture and cinema. It attracts filmmakers and professionals from all over the world. This year, around 100 participants from Greece, Europe, America, and Asia are expected to attend.
The theme of the 16th Festival is “Digital Renaissance: Cinema in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” exploring the role of new technologies in modern film creation and in the promotion of tourism, while the Theme of the 22nd YPERIA Conference is “Showcasing Cultural Heritage in the Digital Era”.
The Amorgos Film Festival continues to be a meeting point for culture, innovation, and inspiration, highlighting Amorgos as an international destination for culture and cinema.
The event is held with the kind support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), the General Secretariat for the Aegean and Island Policy, AIGEAS Non-Profit Organization, and Motor Oil.
