Vienna, March 27, 2026 - The New York Festivals TV & Film Awards has revealed its 2026 Shortlist, recognizing exceptional work from filmmakers and storytellers across six continents. Selected by the prestigious NYF TV & Film Awards Grand Jury, these entries represent some of the most compelling and innovative content produced worldwide.
As a key member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) Circuit, New York Festivals continues to play a pivotal role in showcasing excellence in tourism storytelling. This global circuit brings together nine of the world’s leading tourism film festivals, highlighting the best audiovisual productions promoting destinations and travel experiences.
In the Tourism category of the Corporate Image section, 18 outstanding productions submitted through CIFFT have been shortlisted. The selected works reflect a broad and diverse range of tourism brands and creative collaborations.
Among them are campaigns representing leading international organisations such as Switzerland Tourism, Visit Morocco, Visit Sweden, Swiss International Air Lines, and Colombia’s Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
The shortlist also features a strong presence from Spain, with entries from Turespaña, Turismo Rías Baixas - Deputación de Pontevedra, Catalan Tourist Board, and Campo de Gibraltar Municipalities.
Portugal is also prominently represented, with campaigns from Visit Porto and North of Portugal and Lobby Films and Advertising in collaboration with Turismo do Centro de Portugal, Bensaude Hotels, and Aldeias Históricas de Portugal.
Further shortlisted entries include productions promoting the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, as well as campaigns from VšĮ Kaunas IN, underscoring the global reach and cultural diversity of this year’s competition.
All entries will now undergo final evaluation through online judging and screenings by the NYF TV & Film Awards Grand Jury, composed of more than 200 producers, directors, writers, and creative media professionals from around the world. Award-winning works will be featured in the Storytellers Gala and on the official TV & Film Awards Winners Gallery.
Since 1990, New York Festivals has been a member of CIFFT, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to excellence in tourism film. Winners in the Tourism Section will also secure a place in the CIFFT Rankings, contributing to the selection of the World’s Best Tourism Films of the Year.
